Make a bracket โ†’

When it's handy

Any time you need to decide fairly "who plays who" โ€” an esports or console tournament, a ping-pong or badminton club ladder, a chess night, or a quick office competition. Drawing a bracket by hand invites accusations of bias; shuffling the seeding randomly keeps it clean and impartial.

How to make one

1. Press Make a bracket above. 2. Type one player per line. 3. Press the Make bracket button and a random draw is laid out round by round. 4. If the player count isn't a power of two, some players get a first-round bye and advance automatically. 5. After each match, click the winning player to move them forward; reach the final and the ๐Ÿ† champion is highlighted โ€” you can build the bracket and run the whole event on one screen.

Private by design

The bracket is built entirely inside your browser. Your player list is never sent to a server, and it's saved locally so it's still there when you come back.

A bracket you can run live

For sports days, esports, board games or internal tournaments where you need to crown a winner, you can spin up a bracket instantly. Enter the players and SpinBloom shuffles them into a single-elimination draw, padding with byes when the count isn't a power of two.

Every time you press the button the order is reshuffled, so each draw is different and fair. Rounds are laid out in columns so you can see progress at a glance, and because everything happens in your browser, the player list is never uploaded.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes โ€” no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on the number of players.

How many players can it handle?

There's no hard limit. With a very large field the rounds get wide, so you scroll horizontally to see them all.

Does the draw change every time?

Yes. Each press reshuffles the player order, so you get a fresh random bracket.

What about an odd number of players?

That's fine. When the count isn't a power of two, some players take a first-round bye and advance automatically so the bracket balances out.

I want to split teams first

Use the team generator to make random teams, then build a bracket from those teams.
