How to play

Amidakuji, the ladder game, ghost leg β€” all the same draw

This classic lottery goes by many names: amidakuji (γ‚γΏγ γγ˜) in Japan, sadari-tagi (사닀리타기) in Korea, and ghost leg in English. The idea is identical β€” vertical lines with random horizontal rungs, where each starting point follows the rungs to exactly one ending point. Because every path is one-to-one, no two names ever land on the same result.

SpinBloom draws the rungs with your browser's randomness, so each ladder is different and impartial. Clicking a name animates the route it takes, which makes the reveal fun for classrooms, game nights and team stand-ups.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes β€” no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many draws you run.

How many names can I add?

As many as you like. With a lot of names the ladder gets wide, so it scales to fit and you can still click each name to reveal its path.

Can two names get the same result?

No. Each path maps one name to exactly one result, so every outcome is used once.
